Realize Significance of Indian Culture and Tradition

 

In any educational institute, children prefer various activities such as curriculum, sports, cultural, etc. In present scenario, parent give emphasis to the school in which they found various activities with education. Therefore, we at Sri Vani Education Centre offer cultural heritage to our students to make them interested about Indian culture and tradition. We celebrate various festivals excellently to make them familiar with different festivals and understand value of our culture. We make all efforts for our students to cultivate their open-mindedness toward diverse perspectives, philosophies, religions and cultures.

 

We have given platform to our students to participate in various programs at state level and national level. We provide them many opportunities to perform before Presidents of India, Prime Ministers of India, Chief Ministers of States, foreign dignitaries, etc. during prestigious occasions like SAARC, Cultural Festival, Russia Utsav, National Games, Children Film Festival, Vishwa Kannada Sammelana, Dasara Utsav and many more. Students in our school actively participate in various activities such as scouting, NCC, Adventure, Philately, Sports and Games.

 

Participation in Festivals

 

Ram Navami Festival

 

Ram Navami is a famous Hindu Festival. It is celebrating in India and many other countries of the world for celebration of the birth of lord Ram. It is celebrated on the ninth day of the month of Chaitra in the Hindu calendar. Sri Ram is known for the spirit of perfection, the great man and contributed his life for his family and achieved victory over devils. We can learn many lessons from his life. Lord Ram was the symbol of genuineness and true human being.

 

At Sri Vani Education Centre, we make enormous arrangement for celebration of the Sri Ram Navami Music Festival from last 16 years. During this fabulous ceremony, one can find combination of bhakti, joy and bliss with immense faith in festival celebration. We invite various well-known artists to perform in the festival every year.

 

Navratri Festival

 

Navratri is a very popular and religious Hindu festival in India. It is celebrated for worship of Goddess Durga, the sign of Deity in form of Shakti. Navratri is celebrated in India with great faith and happiness. It is nine days celebration end with Dashera Festival. Many religious people keep fast during Navratri [nine days] expressing their faith towards Goddess Durga. During Navratri nine forms of Shakti [goddess] are worshiped.

 

We at Sri Vani Education Centre celebrate the most popular Indian Festival, Navratri with great faith and enthusiasm.  We invite various renowned artists from all over Karnataka for performing every day. We also arrange doll shows perform by senior students and students from different grades.
