A visionary’s dream of Sri Vani Management headed by our beloved Founder Sri R. S. Hanumatha Rao, has come true at the Hanumavana campus as ‘Science Park’. The dream to make learning  fun, easy and simple for children to comprehend. Combating all odds with courage and conviction, the management moved on with a winning spirit to make this dream fruitful. The painstaking effort to give an educative Science Park to the City of Bengaluru has manifested as a unique park in the school campus of Hanumavana.  Today, this Science Park is one of the major attractions of this city and a fabulous learning centre for students of not only for Sri Vani Education Centre but also for other schools.

Discover an Incredible Science Park

The Science Park nestles on a sprawling four and one half (4½) acre on Magadi Road. The ambience of the park is special, considering the bygone days of Gurukula system of learning - a constant dialogue between the teacher and the taught right in the arms of the mother nature. Whilst the science park is both eco-friendly, with respect to natural conservation and student centric, as well. The experience of the lush greenery and the large pre-historic animal models is a spectacular feast to the onlooker. The park is a treasure house of rare and valuable collection of exotic plants and trees from different regions of the world. The flora in the park is exclusive and extensive.

At Sri Vani Education Centre, keeping education effortless and trouble-free is the motto. Research has shown that 70% of human beings learn by doing which results in information retention for future recall and application. Evidently, most of us are "kinesthetic learners." Spontaneity in students inspire to learn complex principles of science on simple terms as enabled in our science park. A day trip to Science Park rekindles the inquiring mind, encourages and enhances the child’s love for Science. Live models allow an inquiring mind to  experiment for oneself with ‘Persistence of Vision’, ‘Resonance’, ‘Conservation of Energy’, ‘The Periodic Table’, ‘Levers and Pulleys’, ‘Generation of Electricity’ to name a few that give practical knowledge that makes understanding crystal clear.  Hands-on education as a scholastic method  brings out the latent skills naturally and fearlessly in the right atmosphere. Experience tells us students that visit the science park, undoubtedly exhibit a better and realistic approach to the complex concepts. Thanks to this practical knowledge made available in the science park to complement knowledge gained from reading material.

       Gemological Museum

Sri Vani Science Park is an inspiring heaven for keen learners. Gemological Museum is another fabulous place in the Science Park. A walk-through display within the museum is a rare visual display of crystals, shells, corals, mineral ores, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks and much more. Very rare crystals containing water (fossilized water) condensed millions of years old is a must-watch exhibit. Precious gold ore, precious gem stones (Navarathna), semi precious metals, crystals and weak radioactive sand are among other interesting attractions. Rocks dating back several million years, exhibit the splendorous working of Nature. The natural withering of rocks and the setting of precious stones deep within their ore, expose you to the marvelous nature. Another highlight in the science park, is the display of the timeline or chronological history of the earth said to be 4600 million years old. On display are a few beautifully and intricately carved sandstone works depicting "shila baalika" in various poses exhibiting emotions in sculpture of ‘Rasas’. It’s akin to holding a piece of history in your hands. This is a mantra that is repeated across the length and breadth of the science park.
