Keep Fit, Live Fit !

Sri Vani Education Centre, presented a colourful ‘Sports Display’ on 13-01-2012, in the Ambedkar Stadium.

The guests of honour being:

          The audience were welcomed by a beautiful “Swagatham” dance, with various national symbols and a Flag Dance.

          The glittering evening was filled up with various events which carried the audience to a world of ancient games and back to modern games.

         The ancient games depicted various traditional games like flying the kites, kabaddi, Wrestling, Skipping etc, which remained every one of their childhood days.

         The displays showcased the various asanas in Yoga, nursery tiny tots danced for Wakka Wakka, eye catching pyramid formations were among the enthralling displays with various attractive props such as hockey sticks, balls, hoops, wands etc.

   The day’s programme ended up by a grand finale which depicted various modern games such as Kho Kho, Basketball, Volleyball, Karate and Pyramids. The host of children wonderfully tuned out to be in ‘Thank you’ formation, leaving the balloons high up, floating in the air. With this, they spread the message of “Keep Fit, Live Fit”.

Salute to the Nation

SVEC, Basaveshwaranagar, celebrated the 63^rd Republic Day in the school premises.

     Students and staff were privileged to have Mrs Geeta Kulkarni, Police Inspector Basaveshwaranagar, as the day’s guest.

     The celebration started off with the hoisting of the flag by the guest accompanied by Principal Mrs R H Vani and HR Director Mr Pramod Jois.

     The guest in her brief speech motivated the students to believe in themselves, their inner strength and charge forward with confidence. This would make them have a bright future.

     This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony for various sports events held during the academic year. Individual championship trophies were also awarded by the day’s guest.
